Exotic Pets

Since childhood, our veterinarian, Dr. Evan Morse, has continued a fascination with pets which are out of the ordinary.

Growing up in Richmond, Virginia and living in an apartment where dogs or cats were not allowed, he opted for a back porch full of homing pigeons, reptiles, amphibians and many assorted small mammals along with a myriad collection of plants from his local community. At an early age, his tender-hearted inquisitive instincts caused him to set the broken legs and wings of birds with Popsicle sticks. His family nicknamed him “Nature Boy”. But as life would have it, he chose to become a veterinarian, with the heartfelt desire to heal all animals.
